Our Love for RC.
Can you remember that first RC toy you had when you were a kid? I do... It was a 4 x 4 Jeep. It took four AA batteries "under the hood" and four AAA batteries in the transmitter. I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread, I was 7 years old. I was in my element when i knew that I was just as in control as my Dad when he stepped behind the wheel of our family car on a wild adventure. Ever since that day I knew that I was hooked on RC.
As time went on the technology slowly progressed, and like other things, RC capabilities and boundries were pushed. I think today were are in an awesome space where things are much easier than they used to be, and you can get some cool "buy and fly" set ups right out the box. Don't get me wrong, the build, configuration, experimentation, etc. is what it is about for most of us. However it is cool to just pop into your local hobby shop and pick something off the shelf to have fun with it. It also makes the hobby more enjoyable for first timers who don't have the heart to fly something they have spent 6 months to a year building, and then having to peg that day that they are going to risk crashing it on its maiden.
What we would like to do through this site is develop a Community Forum with the idea to build a knowledge base where we post ideas, look at different set ups and to share your RC experiences with everyone in this community. There is always something you are battling with or wanting to share that someone else is always interested in.
Look forward to chatting soon
